"A ladybird is an embodiment of Lady Luck, bringing good fortune and happiness. As the insect leads a vibrant and colourful life, it influences you to experience the joys of living to the fullest."

Congratulations you’ve found my secret ladybird page!

I’ve always loved ladybirds – they were all over my mother’s roses in the garden when I was growing up and they were the buttons on my favourite red dressing gown – later transferred to a cardigan and now in my jewellery box waiting for a little person on whose clothes I will sew them!

Throughout my life I’ve seen them at significant times and when I see them it always makes me think something good is about to happen and they make me happy! There’s no denying it’s become a bit freaky – certainly unexplainable.  But like all the best things in life they are often unexplainable.

I woke up on the morning after our wedding to find a ladybird on my pillow – I opened the curtains of our hotel room to look out on my favourite view in the world – the bend in the river from the top of Richmond Hill to see a whole nest of them spreading out across the pane.  I took it as a good sign obviously. When I told my husband I was pregnant we hugged and I opened my eyes and one was crawling across the kitchen cupboard door!

The list goes on – One even landed on me on a beach in Dubai moments after I met up with some very special friends who I hadn’t seen for a long time.  They are special and hold a special meaning for me…..so when it came to choosing a logo there really wasn’t any choice.

For more freaky stories of when they’ve turned up ask me when I meet you.
